Beth Moore, A Woman's Heart: God's Dwelling Place

The descendants of Korah "did not accept the shame or blame for their fathers' sins, nor did they bask in the bitterness of their unfortunate heritage. Yet they readily accepted and learned the lesson that was taught through their father's judgment. We are not guilty of our fathers' sins. We are a people humbled to accept any form of servitude You would grant us. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than to take up residence in the finest abodes this world could boast. For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere."

"... craving what God did not choose us to do would mean death for our ministries. Only God's chosen task for you will ultimately satisfy.... realize the privilege of serving Him in His chosen position for you" (89)

True intimacy with God always brings humility.

"I have known the misery of sin-sickness. I have known the weight of unconfessed sin" (90)

The Tabernacle with all the people surrounding it would have looked like the shape of a cross.

No one could enter the gate without going through (the tribe of) Judah.

God's Glory fell; the people shouted for joy AND fell face down.
