Beth Moore, A Woman's Heart: God's Dwelling Place, Session 1 DVD notes

All access (to God) is based upon sacrifice.

"Sometimes we feel the right thing, and sometimes we fake the right things."

"This isn't Eden."

The dust of the ground/breath of life = immediate conflict upon creation.

Adams assignment, work and care in the garden, hint at the priesthood.

Adam allowed something into the garden that never should have made it to Eve.

The whole meaning of atonement is God's saying, "I will cover you."

Exodus 14:14

"The LORD will fight for you. You need only to be still (hold your peace and remain at rest."

Beth Moore, A Woman's Heart: God's Dwelling Place

"God seeks to set His people free from dependence on themselves so that they depend instead on Him" (30).

"How often our God seizes a backdrop of darkness to accentuate the light of His presence!"

"What enemy [an I] battling today? God, I invite You to come between me and my enemy. Open the eyes of my heart so that I will recognize You at work. Help me to count on Jesus and to know experientially that He never fails."

Consider "the impact of [a woman's] faith on [her] children's future. What difference can this realization make in [her] daily walk with God and in [her] parenting? Our faithfulness, or lack of it, will have an overwhelming impact on the heritage of our children" (32).

"Revel in a God Whose business is to come between [me and my] enemies!" (33).

Hebrews 13:5

"... be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]"
