Psalm 55:16, ff

"As for me, I will call upon God, And the LORD shall save me.... He shall hear my voice. He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me."

Yesterday is behind me; a new day has come.
Christ has set me free.
It's time for me to accept that I am forgiven and blessed.
When I feel bad, I can let Him preach me some good news.
When my hear breaks, I can let Him bind it up and heal it.
When fires come, I can let Him give me beauty for ashes.
I can walk with Christ just one day at a time, and He will make me someone I never knew I could be.

I can stay in the Word and do what it says.
I do not have to give up or give in.
I have the indwelling power of Christ.
I can do this!
Now unto Him Who can keep my feet from falling and present me blameless before God,
With dancing and leaping joy,
Be glory and majesty, power and authority for ever and ever, Amen.
