Beth Moore: Believing God: Experiencing a Fresh Explosion of Faith

My true, God-ordained ministry will not end when I take the time to let God make me healthier and better equipped.

"When the height of a ministry outgrows its depth, it will inevitably come tumbling down. "Focus on depth alone and ... leave the length, breadth, and height to Him" (88).

"... in things pertaining to the sons of earth, abnormal is more normal than normal. That doesn't mean we should surrender to dysfunction. It means we don't have to hang our heads as we surrender and let Him sort out our tangled mess" (89).

Perhaps "God sees fretting faith as faithless fretting."

"Isaac chose to respect God's name and sovereignty even though he had been deceived."

"... a harder dimension of faith: when faith requires us to do nothing at all, while our human nature screams to interfere. In these cases we believe; therefore, we do not act. Wisdom is knowing the difference..." (91).
