Beth Moore, A Woman's Heart: God's Dwelling Place

God's "activity in the details of [my] life most often displays His glory and beauty" (133).

"... we must recognize situations that demand an extra degree of consecration, preparation, and a protection.... Maintaining purity in ministry is the result of nothing less than deliberate devotion."

John 17:13-21 "The power to live this way was made available the moment Christ prayed that prayer [on my behalf" (141).

I am called to "internal devotion in the midst of external commotion" (142).

Christ became the Door of Escape (147).

"... Holy Spirit's job is to convict [me] of sin, and He is never late for work.... being tempted is not sin; refusing to take the way out is sin. Either way, it is a matter of resistance. We resist either the sin or the Holy Spirit" (148).

"... develop thankfulness toward a keen conviction of sin and pray for it in the lives of your children" (150).
