Proverbs 17:1

"Better is a dry morsel with quietness Than a house full of feasting with strife."

2 Samuel 22: 2-4

"The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, My stronghold and my refuge; my Savior, You save me from violence. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies,,,, He delivered me from my strong enemy, From those who hated me; For they were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my calamity, But the LORD was my support. He also brought me out into a broad place; He delivered me because He delighted in me (vv. 17-20).

"With the merciful You will show Yourself merciful;... With the pure You will show Yourself pure.... You are my Lamp, O LORD; the LORD shall enlighten my darkness.... Your way is perfect; Your word is proven; You are a shield to all who trust in You.... You are my strength and my power, And You make my way perfect (vv. 26-34). You make my feet like deer's feet and set me on my high places."
