Psalm 4: 4-8

"Be angry, and do not sin. Meditate within your heart on your own bed, and be still. [Amp.: "...silent (sorry for the things you say in your heart)] ...LORD, lift up the light of Your countenance upon us. You have put gladness in my heart.... I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You, alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety."

Based upon Prov. 2:1-5

IF I

receive His words
treasure His commands
incline my ear to His wisdom
apply my heart to understanding
cry out for discernment
lift up my voice for understanding
seek wisdom as silver
search for wisdom,

THEN I will understand the fear of the LORD, And find the knowledge of God."

Psalm 5:7

"I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy...."

Proverbs 2:8-9

Wisdom, of God, enter my heart.
Discretion, preserve me.
Understanding, keep me.
Deliver me from the way of evil....

"Have mercy on me, O LORD, for I am weak;

Proverbs 3:1-4

Teach me to bind mercy and truth around my neck; write them on the tablet of my heart. May I find favor in Thy sight.

Psalm 6:8-9

"... the LORD has heard the voice of my weeping. The LORD has heard my supplication; The LORD will receive my prayer...."

Proverbs 3:5-6

Teach me to trust in You with all my heart and lean not on my own insight (Amp.) and understanding. Show me how to acknowledge You in all my ways. Direct my paths.
